RI Chem subsidiary Claveria Tree Nursery Inc. (CTNI) located in Claveria, Misamis Oriental, promotes the replanting of Philippine production forests with fast-growing seedlings cloned from superior mother trees of species such as bagras, acacia mangium and falcata.

CTNI is cloning fast-growing commercial tree species derived from superior mother trees. The species being cloned now are:

Gmelina arborea

is a fast-growing, medium to large deciduous tree reaching up to 30–40 meters tall, valued for timber, shade, and reforestation. It has a straight trunk, wide crown, yellow-orange flowers, and small yellow drupes.

Acacia mangium

Acacia mangium (commonly called mangium or brown salwood) is a fast-growing evergreen tree in the Fabaceae family, reaching 25–35 meters tall, widely planted in Southeast Asia for timber, pulp, and reforestation due to its nitrogen-fixing ability and tolerance of poor soils.

Eucalyptus deglupta

(commonly called rainbow eucalyptus or Mindanao gum) is a striking, fast-growing evergreen tree reaching 60–75 meters tall, famous for its multicolored bark that peels to reveal vibrant streaks of green, blue, orange, and maroon.

Paraserianthes falcataria

also known as the Moluccan albizia or sengon, is a fast-growing tropical tree reaching up to 40 meters tall, prized for its lightweight timber and rapid growth but considered invasive in some regions. It is native to the Maluku Islands, New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands, and widely cultivated across Southeast Asia, including the Philippines.
